Young Jonn, the producer-turned-musician, has put out a two-pack single titled ‘Go Hard’ and ‘Disconnect’.
The singer released the tracks on streaming platforms on Friday.
In ‘Go Hard,’ Young John stresses the importance of hard work, resilience, loyalty, and mutual support.
“Go hard or go home/Cause I cannot come and kill myself/Outside is so cold o/I don’t need your ginger brother mi/I dey for you and you dey for me /No be today you dey cover me,” he sings.
While in ‘Disconnect’, the singer desires more financial success and joy. He also disconnects himself from those who are not in support of his pursuit.
“Ise kekere, owo nla/Loke loke lamama lo/Blessings on Blessings/Mo fe mari lojojumo/If you get a woman/Make you hold ham tight/Cause if she come our side, is gone/Nobody worry me jo/Nah, I want to jaiye yi tan/Dail 3, lubiton,” he sings.
“Mo fe ra helicopter gan ni/Shout out to my money/Young forever l’omo na/The only thing I want is cash and alaafia/Disconnect/Me I don disconnect/Anybody wey no align/Bad belle dey one side/I dey Thank God I survive.”
In 2022, Young Jonn rebranded as an artiste and signed a deal with the record label Chocolate City.
He also disclosed that he delved into music due to his previous desire to become a musician.
