Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idibia, has been unveiled as the headlining act for the upcoming Trace Live concert.

The concert, which is the first to hold in 2019, is scheduled to hold on February 21 at the Terra Kulture Arena.

Themed ‘2Baba – The Reign’, the artiste will share music that spans two decades from his ‘Plantashun Boiz’ days to the present 2Baba.

2Baba, who is one of the most decorated afro-pop artistes in Africa, is the founder of Hypertek Entertainment which produces songs that cuts across the spectrums of R&B, hip hop, reggae, gospel and Afro-pop.

“TRACE LIVE is a new landmark in live music that highlights only the best blend of vocals and musical instruments. The show which spotlights one artist and a band is the biggest live performance show from TRACE, Bolanle Austin Peters and Cabal Entertainment,” a statement by the organisers read.

“Innocent Ujah Idibia, known by his stage name 2Baba, is one of the most decorated afro-pop artists in Africa. He is also credited as one of the key figures in the rise to global prominence of what has been described as the sound of 21st century Africa.”

The event regularly gives fans an opportunity to watch live performances of their favourite artistes.
