The management of White Money, the ex-Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) All-Stars housemate, has addressed his allegations of betrayal.

Last week, White Money blamed his campaign team for his eviction from the reality show.

He accused his team of betrayal, alleging that they sold his votes “which affected my chances of winning the show”.

But in a statement via his Instagram page, White Money’s management said the reality TV star’s remark “was totally taken out of context”.

The team also acknowledged that “desperate foes” tried to bring him down and “few persons fell for monetary inducements.”

The statement added that although White Money was in his feelings during the interview, he did not mean to undermine the efforts of his team.

“In the interview, Whitemoney expressed his hurt over some unfortunate incidences which included the hacking of his account twice and sabotage by a few sly persons he entrusted with tasks,” the statement reads.

“We are in total shock at the misconceptions and misguided reactions the interview has generated. This is to notify the public that his statement was totally taken out of context.

“Whitemoney went on the BBNaija AllStar show with immense goodwill and support from his fans, immediate team and those who simply love his personality.

“However, as the show progressed, the mischief orchestrated by desperate foes to bring him down by all means possible began to unfold. This included sponsored attacks on social media, hacking of his account two times, and damaging efforts from few persons who fell for monetary inducements.

“As human as he is, seeing hard proofs of all this had him in his feelings hence, his response. But on no account did he mean to undermine the efforts of his very loyal team, including his Admins and Fans whose doggedness, dedication and diligent efforts ensured his stay in the house for 8 weeks.

“The narrative peddled on social media is completely twisted and misguided.

“Just as he did while on the show, Whitemoney is only focused on building his brand and creating opportunities that will help him touch lives and inspire his generation.”

White Money’s Instagram page, which has over 2 million followers, was first hacked on August 8 and again on September 5.

The reality star won the 2021 BBNaija edition. He was, however, evicted from the All-Stars season after eight weeks on the show.
