In 2023, there were speculations that the entrepreneur was under rehabilitation after a video of her looking distressed went viral.

Tosin Silverdam, the blogger, had claimed Jaruma was rehabilitated in Abuja for substance abuse.

“Please let’s continue to put Jaruma in our prayers. She is allegedly in rehab in Karu, Abuja for substance abuse. One of the psychiatric nurse taking care of her claims she’s also always demanding for sex. It is well. Let’s just pray for her,” he wrote on Instagram.

But in a flier shared via X on Thursday, the NDLEA disclosed that Jaruma will be opening up on her struggles with substance abuse.

The agency said she will be enlightening the public on the dangers of drug abuse and how to get through the stigma that comes with it.

The sex therapist will speak on the agency’s X space on August 9 around 3pm.

“You may have heard different stories about Jaruma before but the story of her struggle with substance abuse and stigma is one you won’t want to miss hearing from her directly,” the post reads.
