Sammie, who was evicted on the fifth week during the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition, graduated from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in 2023.

In an interview with TheCable Lifestyle, the reality star revealed that he initially lost confidence in the show due to his poor background.

In 2021, Sammie recalled how his mother gave him N900 when he was about to leave home for the reality show.

“Today has been a rollercoaster of emotions for me! Sat down at my mum’s small shop remembered when I told her I was going to Lagos for bbn, she didn’t understand but she gave me 900naira and said that’s all she had,” he said.
