Augustine Kelechi, the Nigerian singer better known as Tekno, has come through with his latest single titled ‘Peace of Mind’.
The musician announced the release of the song via his Instagram page.
“If you are feeling stressed, I have the cure for some peace of mind,” he wrote.
Tekno also accompanied the song with a music video which was directed by him.
The song sees the musician talking about how peace of mind is very important but underrated.
“I dey eat plenty scores say dem no believe us but na God dey bless us/ Dem mouth sharp like scissors/ Say they try their best to pressure me/ But I live my life I send nobody/ I live my life cos peace of mind is underrated oh,” he sings.
“That’s why I’m patient oh cos I know my time is now/ Make nobody whine me oh/ Suffer no good oh everyday I’m up to something/ So far so good I’m up and grateful/ I remember I was wanting when guys were flaunting/ I see something.”
Tekno has established himself as a popular artiste in the Nigerian music landscape with his fusion of Afropop and dancehall styles.
