According to the statement, the suspect, identified as Olufowoke Oladunjoye Emmanuel, is a 19-year-old national diploma holder of Yaba College of Technology.

It added that the suspect, who is a resident of Brentfield Avenue, Peace Estate in Magboro, Ogun state, was picked up by the command’s decoy team of rapid response squad on Thursday after three days of trailing him.

TheCable Lifestyle had earlier reported how the veteran singer had shared screenshots of her WhatsApp conversation with the blackmailer, who threatened to release the nude pictures if she didn’t yield to his demands.

The development came about the same time when Toke Makinwa, Nigerian television host, and Tacha, BBNaija 2019 housemate, had called out unidentified individuals who threatened to release their nude photos.

Seyi Shay, a Nigerian singer, had also made headlines recently after three of her semi-nude pictures appeared on her Instagram page.
