In a Twitter post on Sunday, the 26-year-old disclosed that his mum didn’t understand his ambition after he told her about his decision to travel to Lagos from Kaduna for the reality show.

Sammie also promised to open a big store for his mother whenever he becomes successful.

“Today has been a rollercoaster of emotions for me! Sat down at my mum’s small shop remembered when I told her I was going to Lagos for bbn, she didn’t understand but she gave me 900naira and said that’s all she had,” he wrote.

“My hustle will pay off and I will open a big store for her.”

During his stint in the show, the aspiring filmmaker had broken down over what he described as an inferiority complex.

In an interview with TheCable Lifestyle, Sammie had revealed that he initially lost confidence in the show due to his poor background.

“A guy like me from Zaria, Kaduna state, a regular boy finally in BBNaija and seeing other housemates, the truth is that I lost confidence,” he had said.

“I was like what am I doing here? I should not be here. Then I thought that regardless, I’m still human and I tried it and I got here, why don’t I accept this whole thing.”
