Toyin Lawani: I battled fibroid for almost 20 years

Toyin Lawani, the Nigerian fashion entrepreneur, says she battled fibroid for “almost 20 years” before she got rid of it recently.

Toyin spoke on Monday during a conversation with another Instagram user who claimed only a myomectomy procedure can remove a fibroid from the body.

“Please stop misleading people with your advert for your herbs business. No herbs remove fibroids. I’m talking from experience and professional points of view. Fibroids can be removed through myomectomy” the user wrote.

In her reply, Lawani, who is the founder of Tiannah Place Empire, said she had a “series of myomectomy” and it failed to resolve her trouble.

She also said it was “miracle herbs” that help her overcome the battle she had been fighting for “almost 20 years.”

“You are a daft person, I have had a series of mymectomy and it still came back and herbs helped me since then it hasnt regrown again and it flushed my tubes, which made me bleed for a while,” the mother of three wrote.

“But I can say I didn’t how to red degeneration in this new pregnancy and no more fibroids, let everyone speak their truth, while you doubt them, had fibriods for almost 20years before I even started having kids atall, its not me you will teach what my body went through. Most of you are just used to liars, ’cause you are.”

Last year, the 39-year-old had also revealed she discovered she had fibroid when she was 23.
