I Go Save said the officer’s daughter reached out to him for help concerning her treatment and the payment of medical bills.

According to Utabor’s daughter, four hospitals have refused to attend to the officer because of the family’s inability to pay the bills.

I Go Save said several “musicians and comedians have made money” from using Utabor’s voice.

He promised to support the officer with a sum of N500,000. He also called on Nigerians to financially support Utabor.

“Helen is a police officer who likes her job. She was controlling traffic when a driver hit her and broke her leg,” he said.

“She was taken to four different hospitals with her uniform when she was bleeding. All the hospitals rejected her and told her to bring N1.5 million before she could be treated.

“Meanwhile, she does not have that amount. Her daughter reached out to me on Instagram and I did my investigation to know if she was on duty. Was she supposed to be there?

“They sent me a CCTV footage showing the car that hit her but we could not even get the car’s number.

“This woman has been receiving native treatment from home but she is a woman serving the nation, protecting lives and property.

“She is receiving treatment from home because she does not have money for medical care. When her daughter reached out to me I was touched.

“I know how much money people have made from using her voice. Musicians and comedians have used her voice to make money. Let us raise money for her to get better treatment.

“If the government cannot help, let’s do it for ourselves. I will support you with N500 thousand. I am calling on the Edo state governor and President Tinubu to put police on better insurance plan.”
