Photos from the wedding between Davido and Chioma Rowland, his partner, have surfaced online.
The lovebirds were said to have gotten married after the death of Ifeanyi, their three-year-old son, in October 2022.
In the now-viral photos, the couple are dressed in white outfits and surrounded by friends and family members in what appears to be an intimate and private ceremony.
The pictures were circulated on the internet on Sunday as social media users joined Davido to celebrate his wife on her 28th birthday.
The Afrobeats star proposed to Chioma in September 2019 after the couple put together a low-key introduction ceremony.
They thereafter announced plans to tie the knot but would later postpone the wedding.
Their relationship temporarily hit the rocks in March 2021 over rumours that Davido had an affair with a model.
Davido and Chioma reunited in October 2022, hinting that their wedding had been set for 2023.
Ifeanyi’s demise, however, appeared to have prompted the lovebirds to facilitate the private wedding during their absence from the public eye.
In January, Davido and Chioma were spotted getting their names tattooed on each other’s ring fingers.
Davido also confirmed that he and Chioma are married a few weeks later.
“I traveled, I’m married. A lot of different things but we’re ready now to get back on the road. The album will soon be out, it’s amazing and we’re back on the road,” he said.
With strings of awards and honourary mentions, the singer has established himself as one of the leading names in the Nigerian music industry.
