On how Poco Lee aided his emergence, Black Sherriff, a Ghanaian dancer, said he played his song to Burna Boy.

“I don’t know who played the song but I think it was Poco. He’s a Nigerian dancer. The support from him has been crazy. He has a huge fanbase in Nigeria,” he said during a press interview.

Poco Lee started dancing at a young age. As a university student, he would perform at school functions and events.
