Ahmed Ololade, the Nigerian singer and songwriter better known as Asake, has released a new extended play (EP) titled ‘Ololade’.

The project comes after ‘Omo Ope’, his hit song with Olamide, the rapper, which has amassed millions of streams on various music platforms.

The new project, which houses four tracks including ‘Trabaye’, ‘Sungba’, ‘Baba God’ and ‘Omo Ope’ was released on Thursday.

In an Instagram post, the ‘Lady’ crooner said he is excited to be releasing the EP. He also expressed gratitude to Olamide.

“#OloladeEP our now on all platforms!!! Words can’t express how I feel sharing this part of me to the world. I will always be grateful to @olamide and the #YBNL family,” he wrote.

Asake ventured into music at a very young age. He also showcased his talent through several freestyle videos on social media.

He gained prominence by working with Broda Shaggi in his comedy videos and later featured on the online comedian’s song titled ‘Star’.

His big break came with the release of his hit song ‘Lady’ in 2020. The song became popular among Nigerian music lovers including celebrities.

Asake is currently signed under the YBNL record label owned by Olamide.

He is a graduate of theatre and performing arts from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).
