‘Identity’, an event which seeks to unveil the realities of the Nigerian fashion world and showcase pieces of designers, will take place on Friday.
The Lagos Fashion and Design Week event will hold at Red Door Gallery, Victora Island, Lagos.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet and interact with designers as they share the intricacies behind their Autumn/Winter collection and their interpretation of the theme ‘Identity’.
The autumn and winter fashion week presentation will run from March 31 to April 2.
AAKS, Gozel Green, Kelechi Odu, Lisa Folawiyo, Maki Oh, Orange Culture, Post Imperial, Ré and Shem Paronelli are some of the designers who will be showcasing their autumn and winter collections during the fashion week presentation.
‘Identity’ will explore how fashion and dress sense is expressed in the Nigerian society and how the difficulties of producing locally, affects the way in which it is expressed.

It was founded in 2011 by Omoyemi Akerele, executive director & founder of style house files, a fashion business development agency.
