Mercy Eke, the reality TV star, was hospitalised on Tuesday — a few hours after partying on a yacht.
In a Snapchat post, Eke shared footage of herself in a hospital bed, following an earlier video of her enjoying a yacht party with friends.
Although the reality star did not reveal her diagnosis, she urged her followers to cherish life and avoid negativity.
“Do not ever waste your time in anger, regrets, worries and grudges. Life is too short to be unhappy,” she wrote.
“Who would have thought that I will end up in a hospital barely 24 hours I was seen outside?
“I am just having different thoughts of what could have been the worst case. God, I thank you for your loving kindness. Life is so fickle. Good health is underrated.”

Eke is an actress, influencer and entrepreneur.
She rose to fame after winning the fourth season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) in October 2019.
In 2020, she made her acting debut in the film ‘Fate of Alakada’.
She also recently featured in the Nollywood blockbuster ‘Shanty Town’.
In the same year, Eke received the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award for ‘Best Dressed Female’.
Last year, the reality star participated in the BBNaija All-Stars season, where she emerged as the first runner-up.
