Zinoleeskythe Nigerian singer, has returned with a new single titled ‘Sunny Ade’.

The songwriter announced the release of the new track via his Instagram handle on Friday.

In ‘Sunny Ade’, the 23-year-old addresses various issues and also strongly denies misconceptions about him.

Zinoleesky also prays for a long-lasting music career like King Sunny Ade, the ace juju singer.

“Sorry, I’m not sorry/ Dem don tell me about my journey/ Say raining days are coming/ And every day can’t be sunny/ Papa God dey my side/ Everything dem talk na lie/ Mọ si máa pé bí ti Sunny Adé/ Ẹ si máa wó lè fórí adé/ Dem no sabi how I play my game/ For all these people wan spoil my name/ Wọn rò pé máà fo/ Wọn rò pé máà jagun/ Wọn rò pé màá sọnù/ But nothing fit do ọmọ Ọlọ́run/ Blessing on Blessing/ Man no be God see the setting/ After everything we talked, kí le fẹ́ si? Se bí ìwọ Ọlọ́run rí mi / I no do wetin dem talk,” he sings in a mixture of English and Yoruba.

Born Oniyide Azeez, Zinoleesky joined the Marlian Records label in 2020.

The singer has continued to pull the weight of fame in the music industry.

In December 2020, Zinoleesky dropped ‘Chrome’, his debut extended play (EP).

In 2022, the singer released ‘Grit & Lust’, his EP featuring Omah Lay and Ayra Starr.

Last September, Zinoleesky was enmeshed in the controversy surrounding the death of Mohbad, his former colleague at Marlian Records label.
