Viktor Snipes, Nigerian singer, has come through with ‘International Vovcal’, a track off his forthcoming EP.
The song was put out on Friday ahead of August 27, when the singer’s EP ‘S2DNi’ is scheduled for release.
‘International Vocal’ merges Hip-Hop, Afropop, and Dancehall and sees Viktor talk about his aspirations as a singer.
Viktor first started as a DJ in 2015. He made his debut in 2020 with the release of ‘Soro Soke‘ and ‘Kpo Kpo’.
In 2021, the singer put out ‘Puta’ in collaboration with Blaqbonez, Chocolate City rapper. The track earned him over 200,000 streams.
Speaking about his forthcoming EP, Viktor said: “S2DNi is my introduction, it’s my message opener, my ‘hello I’m Snipes, it’s nice to meet you’. On this, I showcase all parts of who I am as a person, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
“This project is honest; it is me. I focused on telling my own story and painting my own portrait. This is as opposed to conforming and talking more about what the audience would like to hear in a bid to sound more appealing.
“As a new artiste, I want to grow organically, build my identity and sound and grow my niche audience.”
