Rapper/singer, Skales has said indigenous rapper, Olamide Adedeji gave him money to shoot the visuals for his song, ‘Shake Body’.

‘Shake Body’ was a lead single in his debut album, ‘Man Of The Year’.

The 26-year-old singer made this known in a post via Twitter on Monday.

He wrote: “Guys I’ve been holding this back for so long but I gota let the world know @olamide_YBNL …actually gave me cash to shoot ‘shakebody’ vid”

The singer continued in subsequent tweets saying, “Back then cz I was super broke and couldn’t afford to shoot a video for that song I will neva forget it bro thanks a lot bro

“And since then my life has never been the same….GOD BLESS ALL THE REAL AND TRUE ONES OUT THERE,” he said.

YBNL boss Olamide responded revealing the deal was supposed to be a secret.

“God for all bro 🙏🏾 we agreed to keep this coded dough lol 🤦🏾‍♂️,” he tweeted.

Following Olamide’s response, Skales said, “I try my best but them gasto kno ….u to”

Skales recently released his sophomore album titled, ‘The Never Say Never Guy’ under the Baseline Music imprint.

‘The Never Say Never Guy’ boasts of a star-studded lineup of guest artistes which include Sarkodie, Davido, Rotimi Music, PJ Morton, Phyno, Tekno, Fifi Cooper, Timaya, Lil Kesh, Wande Coal and Burna Boy.
