The body of work titled ‘S2DNi’ is set for release on August 27 with its first track expected to hit the airwaves on the 13th.

Speaking about the project on Tuesday, he said: “S2DNi is my introduction, it’s my message opener, my ‘hello I’m Snipes, it’s nice to meet you’. On this, I showcase all parts of who I am as a person, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

“This project is honest; it is me. I focused more on telling my own story and painting my own portrait as opposed to conforming and talking more about what the audience would like to hear in a bid to sound more appealing.

“As a new artiste, I want to grow organically, build my identity and sound and grow my niche audience.”

Snipes first started as a DJ in 2015. He made his debut in 2020 with the release of ‘Soro Soke‘ and ‘Kpo Kpo’.

‘Soro Soke’, a Yoruba phrase, which means speak louder in English, was a popular term used by Nigerians during the #EndSARS protest.
