The music star took to his social media on Wednesday to announce the release of the song’s remix — featuring Rema and Don Toliver, the American rapper.

In the remix, Rema and Don Toliver add gloss to the song with their melodic lyrics.

The Tempoe-produced song is from the singer’s ‘Outlaw’ EP.

Since its release in March 2022, ‘Soweto‘ has become a street anthem and one of the favourite tracks played at several events.

Victony rose to fame two years ago after he collaborated with Mayorkun on the song ‘Holy Father’.

He later collaborated with Grammy Award-winning producer Rexxie on the EP titled ‘Nataraja’.

Victony is currently signed to Mainland Block Party, a record label owned by Tobi Mohammed.

In 2021, Victony and his friends were involved in a ghastly car accident while returning from a birthday party hosted by Oxlade.

He thereafter underwent surgery following the injuries he sustained from the accident.

Last month, the singer announced he will be taking a two-month break from music after undergoing his third and final surgery.
