Olamide Adedeji, a popular indigenous rapper, has unveiled the latest addition to his YBNL record label.

The YBNL CEO has signed Shokoya Oluwasegunfunmi David, a street hop artiste also known as Davolee.

Although little is known of Davolee’s background, the rapper says he once hawked sachet water (pure water) on the streets of Mushin, Lagos.

Davolee’s cover of ‘Panda’, a hit single by Desiigner, an American artiste, earned him relative internet fame.

Adekunle Gold, an established YBNL act, has welcomed Davolee to the record label.

“Welcome to the family brother. Shine Bro,” the ‘Pick Up’ singer said on Twitter.

“We have a new artiste on board,” said Olamide, in a Facebook live video, where he urged Davolee to perform one of his songs.
