Timaya, the Nigerian singer-songwriter, has come through with ‘Sweet Us’, his latest single.

The singer, via his social media pages, announced the release of the song across all streaming platforms.

This includes Spotify, Apple, Amazon Music, Pandora, YouTube, Napster, Boomplay, Deezer, and Soundcloud.

In the single produced by Michon, Timaya disses those he describes as his enemies who are projecting hatred.

The singer states that money is the only thing on his mind, adding that it pains his enemies that he is having more.

The singer, in the song, uses the slang “E dey pain them” which translates as “they are pained” in Pidgin English.

Timaya has established himself as a household name in music since he came into the limelight in 2005 with the release of ‘Dem Mama’, his hit single.

He released his first album ‘True Story’ in 2007. This was followed by ‘Gift And Grace’ in 2008.

‘De Rebirth’ came in 2010; and ‘LLNP’ in 2011, followed by Upgrade’ (2012), ‘Epiphany’ (2014), ‘Chulo Vibes’ EP (2019), and ‘Gratitude’ (2020).

Timaya is the founder of DM Records Limited, a label that houses music stars like Patoranking and Runtown.

His last album ‘Gratitude’ is still getting recognition across the continent almost two years after its release.
