Spyro, the Nigerian singer, has teamed up with Simi, the songstress, for the remix of his hit track ‘Only Fine Girl’.
The original song was released in September. On Friday, Simi announced the remix of the song via Instagram.
In the revamped version of ‘Only Fine Girl’, Spyro maintains the song’s infectious flow and leaves the chorus unchanged.
“You are the only fine girl, only fine girl that I know, only fine girl, only fine girl in my zone, only fine girl, wey I dey chat for my phone,” he sings.
On her part, Simi adds her unique touch to the remix, singing about her love interest who seems to have captured her heart.
She also croons about how he continues to blow her mind.
“Emeka ask me to dance, Joromi want one more chance but I let them know say na you wey dey make my heart to saluti,” the lyrics read.
“Baby, destinamburi (destinamburi), you steal my heart, I no go call police for you, everytime you call my cellular, you just dey burst my medulla.”
Spyro complemented the track with a colourful music video.
He adds a touch of humour as Simi conducts auditions to find the perfect match for her heart.
The video includes cameo appearances by Sexy Steel, the Nigerian singer, and Enioluwa Adeoluwa, the influencer.
The remix of ‘Only Fine Girl’ was produced by Bash Anything.
Spyro rose to prominence after releasing the hit song ‘Who Is Your Guy’ in November 2022.
He has also released other tracks like ‘Billing’, ‘For You’ and ‘Funke’.
Simi, on the other hand, released her debut studio album titled ‘Ogaju’ in 2008.
She has since received numerous awards and recognitions for her craft.
