Dipo Awojide, a senior lecturer in strategy at Nottingham Business School, United Kingdom, has featured among UK’s ‘Top 20 LinkedIn Voices’ for 2019.

Awojide, who is also the founder of ‘Been There Done That’ Hub and BTDT Home Tutors, was recognised in LinkedIn annual top voices list, released last week.

The list highlights professionals in a variety of industries who are building communities and starting thoughtful conversations on LinkedIn, world’s largest professional network, through their articles, posts and comments.

“Awojide shares personal and professional development-related content to ‘help young professionals become more proactive, reflective and to advance their careers,” a statement on the website read.

“He shares tips designed to help people get an edge over competitors in today’s tough job market. Through sharing content on LinkedIn, Awojide has been invited by the Nigerian Economic Summit Group and the African Development Bank to make presentations about job creation and youth development.”

Awojide also took to his Twitter page on Monday to express his excitement over the feat.

“Some fantastic news!!!! I am thrilled, super excited, honoured and humbled to be included as a TOP VOICE on LINKEDIN for 2019,” he wrote.

In 2016, Seyi Fabode, founder of Varuna Tech, was recognized as ‘LinkedIn Top Voice’ in Technology. The former product and strategy leader also made the cut in 2017 for the same category.

John Paul-Iwoha, the founder of Smallstarter Africa, a hub for entrepreneurs who seek learning, inspiration and growth, also emerged ‘LinkedIn Top Voice’ under ‘Startups & Entrepreneurship’ category in 2018.
