The pair’s paths first crossed when Chance was just nine years old.

They began dating as adults in 2013, and welcomed Kensil, their first child together, in 2015.

Chance and Kirsten broke up in 2016 but reconciled in 2018.

They tied the knot in March 2019.

The wedding inspired Chance’s 2019 album ‘The Big Day’. Most of the songs were about his wife and children.

In ‘Zanies and Fools’, a track off the album, the rapper referenced the day he first saw his wife, when she was performing a song as a precocious 9-year-old.

The couple welcomed Marli, their second daughter, in September 2019.
