David Adeleke, the Afrobeats star better known as Davido, has expressed joy at being the father of a set of twins.

In October, Davido and Chioma Adeleke, his wife, welcomed their twins in the United States.

In a recent interview on BET, the singer said people told him it would be challenging for him and his wife to raise the twins.

Davido said against all odds, his experience has been positive, describing it as a “blessing”.

The 31-year-old music star said his newborn babies are calm, adding that they “do not cry”.

“I remember when they came, everybody was like we have twins and that it is going to be hard,” he said.

“But my twins are blessed. They don’t even cry. They are just calm and they are just growing so fast.

“It is just a blessing. Thank God for everything really.”

The couple took a social media break in October 2022 following the death of Ifeanyi, their first child.

In March 2023, Davido announced the release of ‘Timeless’, his latest album.

The singer also confirmed that he and Chioma were officially married.

He has also been vocal about grief and how he managed the challenges he faced after the loss of his son.
