Justin Dean, the estranged husband of Korra Obidi, the Nigerian dancer, has confirmed he indeed withdrew the sum of $5,000 from their joint account.

Obidi had earlier accused Dean of stealing the money, which she said was meant for her rent.

Reacting in a video, Dean denied stealing the money, claiming the withdrawal was a mistake.

The chiropractor also said he had mistakenly transferred the money with the thought that the transaction was in his personal account.

Dean also revealed that he has returned the money after realising his mistake.

“I transferred money, It was an accident. I was not expecting anyone to transfer any money to the joint account or any account. I was paying bills. I’m a busy person. I returned the money, it was an accident, a bona fide accident,” he said.

“I accidentally, not knowingly, transferred money out of a joint account. I had no idea, I thought it was my savings account to pay bills.”

The American also tackled his estranged wife, adding that he will no longer participate in “this social media drama”.

On her part, Obidi confirmed that she has gotten her money back in a Facebook session.

The entertainer appreciated her fans for their support and vowed she would no longer remain silent on the matter.

“I want to tell you that he has returned the money to my account. I woke up to find many people saying that he said he took the money by accident, I want to prove to you that that is a blatant lie. He indeed took the money on purpose,” she said.

“The only reason why he returned it was because I came on here and I decided to speak. I’m no longer going to be keeping quiet.”

The pair have been in the public eye since Dean announced their split in March.

Dean had accused Obidi of infidelity, narcissism, and accountability. The medical practitioner had also said he is heartbroken.
