Caroline Hutchings, the former Nollywood actress, has denied rumours that she is in a romantic relationship with Timaya.
A blog had recently claimed that the ex-movie star is dating the Port-Harcourt singer.
But in her reaction, Hutchings, whose marriage to Musa Danjuma, the billionaire businessman, ended in 2014, took to her Instagram page on Sunday to refute the rumours.
In the now-deleted post, the mother of three said she’s just a “friend” with Timaya.
She added that anyone hurt by their “friendship” should go and “drink poison.”
“Like two opposite-sex adults can’t be ordinary friends again? Something must happen? Enough of this silly mentality. I’m ashamed of whom I have been with or who I will be with.
“Don’t cook up stories for clout. If you have nothing better to do with your blog, find out solutions to make Africa’s economy better.
“Since you put up my picture, I needed to come down to your level to address you. Timaya is my friend. You can drink poison respectfully if it hurts.”
In January, Hutchings — for the first time since 2014 — opened up about her divorce from Danjuma.
