Some celebrities have congratulated Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, the ace actor fondly called Charles Olumo and Baba Agbako, on the occasion of his 100th birthday.

In a video shared on Sunday, the thespian can be seen dancing to drumbeats as actors celebrated his centenary birthday.

Among the actors that visited Charles Olumo in his home include Idowu Phillips, the Yoruba actress better known as Iya Rainbow.

Other filmmakers took to their social media pages to hail Baba Agbako on his landmark birthday. 

Bolaji Amusan, the president of the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association Of Nigeria (TAMPAN), congratulated the actor for hitting the milestone year.

“Happy centenary birthday to pa Charles Sanyaolu Olumo… many happy returns sir,” he wrote.

In the same vein, Damola Olatunji, chairman of the directors guild at TAMPAN, said: “Whaooooo💯💯💯🎉🎊🎉🎊Baba Agbako is 100years old today. Happy champagne Age birthday baba. A true thespian who deserves a national honor. A living legend🙌.I pray that God will continue to keep our oldest actor in good health.🙏🙏🙏AMEN”.

On her part, Foluke Daramola described Olumo as his “gist partner” who would always advise her like a “16-year-old” child anytime they have a conversation.

“Still celebrating baba Charles olumo . My gist partner, one that will call me at least 1ce a week and will still be advising me like a 16 yrs old. I 1ce asked u how it feels to be 100 and u said u don’t feel differently from when u were 20,” she wrote on Instagram.

“I laughed my heart out. But Papa as I call u, u are indeed a strong man. May God countinue to bless u and bless ur new age sir.”

“Pa Charles Olumo clocks 100 years today. Happy Birthday sir ….,” Kunle Afod, another filmmaker, wrote.

“Is he the oldest actor? Is this another record from Nigeria?”

Femi Adebayo also expressed his congratulatory messages for the actor on social media.

“Happy Centennial Birthday to the legend, Alhaji Abdulsalam Sanyaolu aka Charles Olumo (Agbako). We celebrate you baba,” he wrote.
