Ayra Starr, the Nigerian songstress, has slammed critics of her skimpy dress to a concert in Athens, Greece.

On Tuesday, the ‘Bloody Samaritan’ crooner thrilled fans at the ‘Release Athens Festival’ to commence her European tour.

The musician wore a skimpy dress showing her underwear on stage as she performed her hit songs.

Her choice of dress to the concert has continued to attract mixed reactions on social media.

While some urged the singer to improve her mode of dressing, others argued that such dress should not be used as yardstick to define her personality.

Reacting to the criticisms via her Twitter page, the singer said she dressed that way to ensure uniformity in her outfit.

“These are literally matching shortssss, but amazing for you! You’ve seen pant ! Congratulations, you’ve finally achieved something in your life,” she wrote.

This is not the first time the 21-year-old singer will be a subject of controversy over her outfit.

Last December, Starr also tackled critics of her skimpy dress to a concert in Lagos state.

“I’m only going to say this once, I no send your papa, your mama, your uncle, your sister…I go wear my miniskirt anywhere I want, anytime I want, any way I want,” she had said in a mixture of pidgin and English.

“So mind your business. ‘Cos you see me, your opinion, I go use am write song. E no matter to me. Hey guys, I am still new in this so… don’t judge me, no judgement.”

Born Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, Starr gained prominence in 2021. She became a viral sensation after releasing ‘Bloody Samaritan’, a track off her debut album ‘19 & Dangerous’.
