Emeka Akumefule, the Nigerian musician better known as Blaqbonez, has put out a new song titled ‘Back in Uni’.

The 26-year-old musician announced the release of the track featuring JAE5, the British-Ghanaian record producer, on Friday.

In the song, Blaqbonez reflects on life during his stay at the university as well as his past relationships.

“All the hearts I broke in Lekki. Only God fit to protect me. All the lies I told them girlies. Goddamn, I’m way too reckless. My girlfriend way back in uni. Something she’ll never know. Oh Lord, I did her dirty. Something she’ll never know…” he sings.

“Big Banks takes lil Banks that’s the law of the Jungle. The girlie wan money when I call you know she gon come through. You know these hoes ain’t Loyal. None of my bros ain’t loyal. So, who be these hoes made for you…”

The song is one of the tracks off his forthcoming album titled ‘Young Preacher’.

The much-awaited project follows the success of ‘Sex Over Love’, his debut album, which was released in 2021.

Blaqbonez, whose real name is Emeka Akumefule, has continued his impressive run in the music industry with several hit projects.
