Afro-pop singer, Wizkid, may not be doing much to solve the jollof rice war between Nigeria and Ghana but he’s certainly using it to his advantage.
The singer recently hosted fans in Shoreditch, UK, to a free concert/album listening session, offering free jollof rice, chicken, puff puff, and drinks.
Wizkid, who performed alongside popular British act Skepta and Nigeria’s boy wonder Burna Boy, pulled the move to create hype about his soon-to-be-released EP, ‘Sounds From The Other Side’.
The fans who couldn’t resist the allure of jollof rice and friends trooped in en masse.
