A Nigerian juju band kidnapped along the Lokoja-Abuja highway has regained freedom — after a few days in captivity.

On Monday, Adeyinka Adeboye, the juju singer, said the band leader was abducted, alongside his colleagues, while returning from a show.

Adeboye said the kidnappers demanded N10 million as ransom for each member of the band.

The singer also shared the pictures of the victims while calling for help.

“May God in His Infinite mercy bring you guys back home in peace in Jesus Name. GOD pls bring these your children back home,” he had written.

“This is so so scary. God have mercy @omobadejumbobeats and his band men were kidnapped on their way to Kogi from Abuja for performance yesterday, please we need help as the kidnappers are demanding #10m ransom on each person.”

But in a recent video shared by Adegbodu Taiwo, a member of the juju music band, the entertainers were ushered out of a white-painted bus.

Dressed in white T-shirts and knickers, they were led into a building in the company of their other colleagues.

“To God alone be the glory, Omoba de jumbo beats and his crew are back to Abuja safely. No more sorrow IJN @omobadejumbobeats,” Adegbodu wrote.

It remains to be seen if any ransom was paid to secure their release.
