Idris Okuneye, the Nigerian socialite popularly known as Bobrisky, has laid her father to rest.
The Snapchat celebrity lost her father on Monday.
In a now-viral video, Bobrisky can be seen tossing sand on the ground where her dad was buried.
It is understood that he was buried in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun state.
In the video, a solemn Bobrisky is seen clad in a black gown with a black scarf over her head. The social media celebrity also wore huge black shades that covered up part of her face.
She took to her Snapchat page to announce that she will be hosting a “final burial” for her dad.
“Have cancelled my birthday party. Instead, I will be doing my dad final burial in 41 days. He died at age 78,” she wrote.
“My dad is an Alhaji, very responsible man. I will be inviting all my friends to his 41 days final burial party. But no aso ebi, no alcohol in his burial party as well.
“He told us, his children that when he grows old and dies that he does not want alcohol. I have to respect his wishes, but cows and different types of food will be going down. Lastly, we will be using the biggest hall because our family is very huge.”
