Shadrach Adeboye Folarin, Nigerian singer better known as Shaydee, says his protracted break from the music scene was to sort out personal issues.

The talented singer’s hiatus from the music scene has generated some concerns among fans, leaving many tongues wagging on what could really be wrong with him.

But while speaking with HipTv, Shaydee said his absence from music was to refreshen himself. According to him, like every human beings, artists also need break to properly take care of themselves, stressing many often take them to be “super humans”.

“I took a break for my myself,” he said.

“First of all, I do put out time to make music. I put in a lot to make music every single day… So I just took a break for myself.

“Sometimes, a lot of people forget that we artists are human beings too, you have a life to live and there are somethings that come up and you want to take a break for yourself, your mental health, that’s pretty much for me.

“So I just had to that break and sort out somethings in my personal life, I has nothing to do with my music.

“Definitely, the fans always want you to keep dropping albums, especially when you have real fans . they also always want to hear something from you. We are back.”

Born on September 21, 1987, the vocalist and songwriter is widely known for his hit single titled ‘Won Gbo Mi,’ featuring vocal appearance from Wizkid.
