Orock Henry Betang, a Cameroonian pastor, has advised Davido to sell his Maybach car to avoid misfortune.
In April, Davido added a newly acquired 2023 Maybach Virgil Abloh to his collection of luxury vehicles.
On Thursday in a social media post, Betang claimed to have received a divine revelation to tell Davido not to use his new car.
The clergyman claimed “the devil” intends to harm the singer through it.
Betang stated that Davido should be cautious on either Tuesdays or Thursdays because something unfavourable is bound to happen unless he sells the car.
He urged fans to share the message and encourage their family and friends to pray for Davido’s safety.
“The Lord instructed me to tell him not to use the car he recently purchased. He should sell it instead and refrain from using it, as the Devil has devised a plan to bring him down,” Betang said.
“Be mindful of either Tuesday or Thursday of the week. I am uncertain which week exactly, but I witnessed something negative. Initially, it appeared as a positive occurrence, but he can avoid it by selling the car.
“If you genuinely care about him, please share this live broadcast. Share it and inform your family and friends. Urge them to pray alongside him, and may this message reach those close to him, his family, and friends.
“Let us unite in prayer, appealing to God for His mercy during this season. God bless you.”
Betang’s admonitions come several months after Davido lost Ifeanyi Adeleke, his son with his wife Chioma.
