“My boss called my husband to say, ‘Femi, is it that kind of Helen you want to date? You are more than this’. And he said ‘if you want to just enjoy yourself with her it is okay,” she had said.

“I took Femi to my own office, then in TVC. My HR looked at Femi and said ‘look at how clean you are. A lawyer. Why the choice of Helen?’”

Last week, Illbliss took a jab at Phenom, his rapper colleague, over a “disrespectful” remark he made about Mode 9, the ace rapper.

Phenom had said he did not see Mode 9 as a role model — a comment which implied that the ace rapper was not commercially successful.

“I am not trying to be someone that wears baggy jeans and just be ‘o hip hop’. No, that is a mental problem.”

PORTABLE AND PASUMA’S PLANNED CHURCH PERFORMANCES

The Celestial Church of Christ made a U-turn on the invitation of Portable, the singer, and Pasuma, the Fuji musician, to perform at its praise night in Lagos.

Pasuma and Portable were among the artistes to perform at the concert scheduled for December 15.

The church’s announcement of the singers’ proposed participation had provoked backlashes on social media after it went viral on Wednesday.

However, Olatosho Oshoffa, the leader of the Celestial Church of Christ International headquarters in Ketu, while responding to the poster on his Facebook page, said he had requested an immediate amendment of the poster.

“Dear Celestians, I have just had a lengthy conversation with the Shepherd in Charge of the aforementioned Parish. He has promised to amend the posters,” he wrote.

“He has assured me that the aforementioned musicians in question won’t be attending the praise night. Without a doubt, that particular poster is highly unacceptable. God bless CCC. Amen.”
