The title was coined from the movie’s critical events that happened on the seventh day of the third month.

The film featured Nollywood heavyweights like Chukwujekwu, Montana, Tina Mba, Akin Lewis, and Fred Amata.

Other stars include Mofe Duncan, Anthony Monjaro, Duke Elvis, and Agnes Obi.

Speaking about the movie, Okoduwa said the cast of ‘7th of the 3rd’ was intentionally and meticulously sourced “due to the sensitivity of the story we intended to tell”.

“The talent, skill, and emotions that Blossom Chukwujekwu and Uche Montana bring to the table are unrivalled. Their delivery on ‘07.03’ is award-winning. We did not encounter many challenges filming as the crew and the cast formed a very amiable professional bond,” he said.

“The major challenge was the dynamics of the film budget. Preproduction and production were caught up in the fuel subsidy removal and dollar hike era, and that affected our budget significantly.”
