Peter Okoye, the outspoken half of Psquare, has explained why he loves England team, Chelsea football club.
The singer says the never-say-die attitude of fans of the north London club has impressed him for the past 16 years.
Peter said this on Wednesday at a press conference to herald the MerryBet celebrity fan challenge.
The event which will feature more than 30 celebrities who will show off their skills, and also perform.
“To all my Chelsea fans, make sure you come and support us. Trust me, I will give M.I five hundred press-ups this time”, he said.
“I’m not ashamed of my club, I love my club, Chelsea. I’ve been a Chelsea fan for almost 16 years.
“One thing I love about Chelsea, whether we’re winning or we are losing, at least we are not among those people that say ‘Wenger out’… you know yourselves.
“Even if we don’t win the season, top 4 were coming out of this champions league”, he added.
At the press conference which held at Club Rumors, Peter, alongside Olamide, Orezi and Falz were announced as the new MerryBet ambassadors.
