In a recent chat on skit maker Isbae U’s podcast, the singer said he stopped the mode of payment after Davido paid him in cash for his service.

“I swear I am not going to lie, I used to collect clothes before. But there was a particular one I wrote and he gave me some money so I stopped but I used to before,” he said.

Peruzzi is the songwriter behind most of Davido’s smash hit singles.

In October 2023, the songwriter revealed he was the one who wrote ‘Unavailable’ and ‘Risky’ for Davido.

‘Unavailable’ is a track off ‘Timeless’, Davido’s fourth studio album, while ‘Risky’, featuring Popcaan, the Jamaican singer, was released in 2019.

“Risky, but what did you expect when I wrote Risky? Let us go to pen game talk, I let my pen game talk even when I am high as f**k, you will not see my pen game drop,” he had said.
