In ‘Palava’, Drille also samples Original Stereman’s 2005 hit song, ‘Sample Ekwe‘.

“Ten over ten I dey over calculate/ I dey pray and fast I dey meditate/ Another kasala every other day/ Coolu my temperature e don dey raise/ Rain on me/ Father in heaven have mercy on me/ Open heaven and rain on me/ Shame my enemies wey no believe/ Shadow me
Many thing wey my eye don see/ I cannot tell all the wolves from sheep/ Shame the enemies wey no believe,” he sings.

Born John Ighodaro, Drille joined Mavin Records in 2017 after his unique sound caught the attention of Don Jazzy, the music label boss.
