When Olamide Adedeji released ‘Wo’ in 2017, the ministry of health said the video contained dangerous content.
According to the 2015 tobacco control act, the artiste was liable to N3 million fine and one-year jail term for promoting the use of tobacco in the video.
In the same manner, his recently released song, Science Student, is courting controversy.
On the hit song, the artiste rapped about various traditional alcoholic drinks and drugs which are often abused.
While some have argued that he used ‘Science Students’ as a medium to discourage drug abuse and merely used the slangs to connect with the street, others say he was glorifying drug abuse.
So what is it for you? Did Olamide glorify drug abuse or did he discourage it on ‘Science Students’?
