Davido, the Afrobeat singer, says he spent N100 million on a music video directed by TG Omori, the producer.

Davido released ‘Timeless’, his fourth album which houses 17 tracks, in the early hours of Friday.

In a recent interview with Beat FM, the singer said the video shoot was for ‘Feel’, the second track from the new body of work.

The DMW honcho expressed his excitement about the collaboration with TG Omori, boasting that he spent  “N100 million” on the video shoot.

“Timeless going crazy, we are excited. I’m excited about the record, we shot the video with TG, yes and I’m proud to say that is his first N100 million video,” he said.

“The video was like a six-day shoot but shout-out to him, amazing, the visuals with this record, this album, we are not even joking at all.”

The singer earlier disclosed that concerts for the new album will be held in London, New York, and Lagos.

The music star recently signed two new artistes to DMW, his record label.

The new acts  — Morravey and Logos Olori — were also featured in the ‘Timeless’ album.

With strings of awards and honourary mentions, Davido has established himself as one of the leading names in the Nigerian music industry.
