The game show will feature a cooking competition amongst participating parents and children.

Speaking with journalists on Thursday, Asiwaju Temitope, representative of the Tolaram Group, said the 15-episode show will reflect “a unique bond in the family setting”.

He said the show will reveal the bond being shared between mothers and their children.

“So what you are witnessing here today is a partnership with us and the Multichoice family. And the reason why we do this is, for everybody seated here, you will know that Indomie is always about of course excitement in terms of the food category that we belong to,” he said.

“And we felt that we needed to go beyond this to create that unique bond in the family setting. Most especially between the mums and the children. So that is why we have created this.

“It is more like a game show that is going to be involving the whole family but represented by their mum and children. With so many games that will be involved, we expect that from start to finish, we will have several families who will be contesting.”

Corroborating Asiwaju’s comment, Busola Tejumola, executive head of content and West Africa channels at MultiChoice, said the game show is “centred around unity and communion shared between mum and children”.

“We are unveiling a family game show centred around unity, communion, and the love that is shared between mum and children. And so for this game show, I am more than really excited,” she said.

“It will generate some warmth. It will generate love and I believe that is one of the objectives of the game show. To one, bring our mums together to see the dynamics between kids, between mums, between kids and kids, mums and kids. There will be a lot about mums and their recipes. It is focused on the bond between mum and children.”

The organisers announced that the winner would go home with a cash prize of N5 million.
