Last week, Falana & Falana Chambers wrote the chief coroner at the high court in Ikeja, requesting an inquest to determine the cause of death.

“Given the needless death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, we are compelled to request a coroner’s inquest to be conducted into the cause of death of this young promising musician,” the firm wrote in a letter dated September 18.

But in a letter addressed to the law firm on Tuesday, Mojisola A. Dada, Lagos chief coroner, said the inquiry into Mohbad’s death will begin on Friday.
