TheCable had reported how the gunmen gained entry into the bank on Saturday morning after sporadic gunshots, but were unable to leave following a siege by operatives of the country’s police in collaboration with the army.

The robbers would later meet their waterloo during an exchange of gunfire with the security personnel, leading to the death of one of the attackers while four others were arrested.

Following the drama that played out — which is typical of what is seen in action movies — a number of Nigerians took to social media platform, especially Twitter, to give their different takes on the incident.
