Nike Adeyemi has taken to social media to celebrate the 55th birthday of Sam Adeyemi, her husband who is the senior pastor of the Daystar Christian Centre

Nike penned a special message of appreciation to Sam who she described as the “husband of my youth”. 

She also thanked the cleric for being a blessing to her and prayed that he continues to walk in God’s wisdom.

“Grateful this day and always for my friend, lover, husband of my youth, caring father, pastor and leader of leaders.  My Sweetheart is 55 today! Thank you Lord,” she wrote.

“I am excited about the future for you, for us and pray you walk in Christ’s  will and wisdom continually, obeying His voice, and truly enjoying your life.”

Some other prominent Nigerians have also taken to social media to celebrate Sam on the occasion of his birthday.  

Joe Odunmakin, the widow of Yinka, the late spokesperson of Afenifere, described the cleric as “a finger indexing paradise”.

“Pastor Sam Adeyemi is that practical example from one Oregun to the other,” she wrote.

“He is that finger indexing paradise. The same finger holding the chalk to life’s lessons. A life lived in chapters of godliness and clean spiritual energy. I wish you my confidant a happy birthday.”

Godman Akinlabi, the lead pastor of The Elevation Church, described him as an exceptional leader and a spiritual father.

“Please join me in honouring an exceptional leader, my pastor, mentor and spiritual father,” he wrote.

“Your special day is the perfect opportunity for me to thank you for inspiring and supporting me through this passage of life as wonderfully as you do.

“I feel truly blessed to be guided by a phenomenal spiritual mentor such as you. My wife  and I pray that you’ll be blessed with good health, happiness, and many more years of being a blessing to the world.  Happy Birthday to you sir!”
