Tonto Dikeh, the Nollywood actress, and Jane Mena, the dancer and influencer, have once again engaged in a heated war of words on Instagram.

The drama started after Jane Mena shared a cryptic post on her Instagram stories wherein she claimed that a certain person had backed out after threatening to go to court.

In the now-deleted post, the dancer alleged that the person was scared to sign court papers because (s)he was short of money.

“E say she ready to go court. But she dey run up and down. Stay one place and sign the papers. Fear fear. No condition is permanent. Sapa everywhere o,” she wrote in Pidgin English.

Although the IG influencer didn’t mention any name, Tonto, who had assumed she was being called out, wasted no time to fire back at Jane Mena.

In a series of Instagram posts, the controversial film star described Jane Mena as an “adulterous twerker” who she claimed hired a “charge and bail” lawyer.

“This adulterous twerker say I dey fear to sign papers. Tell your charge and bail lawyer that he knows who Festus Keyamo is and where he can locate his office,” Dikeh wrote.

The movie star also claimed that it was Prince Kpokpogri, her ex-boyfriend, who told her how he allegedly slept with the dancer more than her (Jane’s) husband.

HOW THE DRAMA STARTED

Dikeh and Kpokpogri have not been on good terms since their relationship turned sour in September.

They had accused each other of cheating, with a series of leaked audios surfacing online to back their claims.

Amid the ensuing drama, Dikeh had claimed she found that Kpokpogri had — before she called off their relationship — recorded sex tapes of Jane Mena and other married women. She had also accused the politician of blackmail.

Kpokpogri would later apologise to Jane Mena over Dikeh’s claims.

Despite the apology, Jane Mena had petitioned the inspector-general of police (IGP) in a letter where she alleged cyberstalking and criminal defamation of her character by the actress.

In the petition, Jane Mena, who is married to Andre Plies, described Dikeh’s claims as “damaging and malicious”.

Jane Mena, through her solicitors, had further demanded an immediate retraction of the said claims by Dikeh.

The dancer also asked that the publication of retraction be published in four national dailies in Nigeria. She demanded that Dikeh tender an apology and pay the sum of N500 million to her for the damages done to her person.

Following a previous dispute between the entertainers, Dikeh and Jane Mena had agreed to meet in court.
