With just a couple of weeks to the 2017 Video Music Awards, MTV has unveiled its list of performers for this year’s event.

The award ceremony, which is set to hold on Sunday, August 27, features Katy Perry who would be on double duty as host and performing artiste alongside The Weeknd.
The duo tied for the second most amount of nominations this year.
Other artistes slated to perform include band 30 Seconds to Mars, Miley Cyrus, Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony, Ed Sheeran and Lorde.

The MTV Video Music Awards would be taking place at the Forum event center in Inglewood, California by 8pm.
The event would be aired live to audiences around the world.
