Keke Palmer, the American actress, and Darius Jackson, her boyfriend, have welcomed their first child – a boy – together.
The actress announced the baby’s arrival in an Instagram post on Monday.
She shared a video of herself and her boyfriend leaving the hospital with the baby.
The film star also announced the name of her newborn baby.
“Hey son!!! Only 48 hours of being parents! Darius always made me playlists when we first started dating “someone” by El Debarge was a favorite,” she wrote.
“We became each other’s someone and made a someone, look at God! The baby love Rolling Ray, cause purr.
“I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world.” Hahaha. I’m just playing my baby’s face on this slide and this slide.
“Born during Black History Month, with a name to match! LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo.”
Jackson also shared pictures of their son and revealed the date and time the baby was born.
“Leodis, Andrellton Jackson, February 25, 2023, 3.28 PM,” he wrote.
In December 2022, Keke Palmer revealed she was expecting her first baby while hosting Saturday Night Live.
The 29-year-old made her acting debut in ‘Barbershop 2’. She then had her breakthrough in the drama film ‘Akeelah and the Bee’ in 2006.
Palmer has since played numerous roles as lead actors in comedy and drama productions.
She has also received several recognitions, including a Primetime Emmy Award, five NAACP Image Awards, and nominations for a Daytime Emmy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
In 2019, Time magazine included her on their list of most influential people in the world.
